Activities:
Pollution Testing Laboratory (PTL)
The BDTF Trust has established a Pullution Testing Laboratory (PTL). Foundation of the PTL is in line with the objectives of the Environment (Protection) Act. 1986.
- PTL is established in its own building with advanced environmental monitoring equipments. Office is equipped with latest information technology facilities.
- Laboratory is managed by a group of eminent experts and analysts of National and International repute in the field of environmental technology, mining, toxicology, biotechnology, microbiology, ecology, forestry, agriculture, law, social work, economics, public health engineering and hospital waste management etc. PTL managers volunteer their services for environmental protection and global survival.
- Laboratory provide facilities for testing of Ambient Air, Stack and Process Emission, Drinking and Waste Water, Industrial Effluent and Domestic Sewage, Soil, Noise, Automobile Exhaust, Solid Waste Disposal, Bacterial and other Microorganisms, Chemical Pesticides, Synthetic Compounds and Bio-products etc. Laboratory also arrange summer training/field training programmes for MBA/Technology/Science students.
Consultancy Division
Consultancy services are available for preparation of Environmental Management Plan (EMP), Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), Environmental Accounting & Auditing, ISO Certification, Recycling of Waste Materials, Bio-medical Waste Management, Ecosystem Analysis, Pollution Control Technologies, Bio-diversity Investigation, Development of Environmental Park, Green Belt and Plantation, Cess estimation, NOC and Clearance from Pollution Control Boards, Health Investigation, Ground Water Management, Drinking Water Treatment, Public Awareness, Environmental Education and Training Programmes etc.
Legal Aid Division
Legal Cell of the ECA, provide legal aid to the Industrial, Social, Governmental, Non Governmental Organizations and Common people for the conservation of natural resources and betterment of human environment. From the legal cell free environmental legal aid is provided to the needy organizations with the help of Legal Experts.
Research Development and Planning Division (RDPD)
RDPD help the students, NGOs, Government officials, faculty members and all others interested in the eco-development of environmental, socio-cultural and economic issues. A group of multidisciplinary experts of national and international repute provide training, dissertation, projects and proper guidance in the field of environmental management/engineering/technology and socio-economic areas. Short and long term training programs/workshops/projects are also conducted.
